File under WTF! So I’m cleaning out the pumpkin (see Oct. 13 entry) per the instructions… and half an hour later my thumb is looking kind of orange and is stiffening up. Somehow the pumpkin has bonded with my skin, even though I’ve washed my hands five times, including with Lava and a fingernail scrubber. Now I’m at the point of actually scraping off the pumpkin residue, which feels a lot like peeling of a layer of epidermis. This is really disturbing… and it ain’t in the freakin’ recipe!
