You have to be a bit of a science nerd to appreciate this application/idea/story, but these guys [SCIgen – An Automatic CS Paper Generator] developed a program to randomly generate a scientific research paper [Rooter: A Methodology for the Typical Unification of Access Points and Redundancy].

Now, their gibberish paper has been accepted to a scientific conference [more info via slashdot], where they intend to give a random speech about it. Awesome.
