Last night a 4.2 earthquake struck about 20 miles from here… the biggest quake in recent memory, enough to rattle a couple of bottles and make a few pictures crooked. But to those who fear “the big one.” Our last bad earthquake was nearly 20 years ago… a 6.9 in Loma Preita.
