I knew when I was asked to write this that it would generate some controversy (particularly over who was NOT included) and a whole lot of traffic… looks like it’s already starting. (For the record I helped to generate the list and wrote 25 of the blurbs (mainly the first half). PC World staff wrote the blurbs for the other half of the list.)
